This vendor came highly recommended from my realtor. I was a bit skeptical at first because I've had … read more plenty of realtor recommended home inspectors who just breeze over everything in an hour and rubber stamp it so that the deal can go through.
Jeff is not that guy! He is old school meticulous, his report is thorough and well organized. During the inspection he offered thoughts on things he thought I should know and patiently answered every one of the dozens of questions that I peppered him with. Very professional but also very personable. I am certain that he was not the cheapest home inspector available but I am equally certain that he was worth every penny we paid and then some. In fact, his inspection report saved us from buying a real disaster of a house. We moved on to another property which he will be inspecting for us next week.
In short, you really cannot go wrong with this guy. Do yourself a favor, spend a little money on expertise and work ethic. In return you'll get peace of mind and a strategic plan for what you will need to do to maintain and improve your new home. Or, in our case, a red alert that the home you think is perfect is going to bleed your bank account dry.
